Are you a motivated individual with a strong desire to learn? Morrison Hershfield is currently searching for a full-time Account Executive to join our Corporate Financial Services team. You will have the opportunity to development transferable skills such as variance analysis, monitoring and reporting on the financial performance and condition of the business/function. Work across MH to provide service and support the financial management activities and ensure financial information is reported completely and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, prepare journal entries, and account balance reconciliations
• Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations
• Monitor bank activities and cash flow funding requirements
• Provide full cycle accounts payable support
  • Scan and code of invoices into the accounting ERP system
  • Prepare cheque payment runs
  • Reconciliations of vendor statements to accounting records
  • Handles vendor inquiries
  • Processes employees expense claims
  • Reviews, edits and approves corporate cards
  • Handling vendor inquiries within a reasonable timeframe
• Preparation and filing of GST and ensure smooth completion of filings
• Preparation of TDS return filing and filing of the same on quarterly basis
• Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed

Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor’s/ Master degree/ in Accounting or Semi qualified a CA or CMA. with 3-5 years of related experience
• Flexible in working outside of office hours to meet deadlines and meetings with North American colleagues
