The Technical Services Consultant, as a member of the Technical Services Team, plays a key role in the success of a client’s implementation of products. The primary responsibility of the Technical Consultant is to design,build and troubleshoot solutions that extend products to drive additional business value for the client. Product extensions include integrations, workflows, database objects, reports and data migrations
The Technical Consultant ensures the client solution is well documented and meets the business needs of the client as documented in a specification. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is driven to solve customer business challenges.
Duties & Responsibilities:
● A deep understanding of the Real Estate & Workplace Solutions (RE&WS) product suite
● Creation and on-going maintenance of custom reports across the RE&WS product suite
● Creation and on-going maintenance of data import routines across the RE&WS product suite
● Creation and on-going maintenance of custom SQL to support integrations and data marts/warehouses across the RE&WS product suite
● Creation and on-going maintenance of custom notifications across the RE&WS product suite
● Align customer business requirements with specific technical deliverables
● Critical technical evaluations of business specifications
● Creation and review of technical specifications
● Software testing; peer review and unit testing.
● Assist in effort estimation process for technical deliverables
● Ensure compliance with customer service charter
● Communicate / resolve task issues that may impact project success
● Develop technical documentation including, technical white papers, handover documentation, training guides and statistical information
● Providing professional support and guidance to internal and external customer queries at a range of levels
● Pre sales work – tender responses and proof of concept deliverables
● Adhere to all internal policies and procedures as required by the RE&WS Information Security Management System (ISMS) as part of the ISO27001 standard
● Ad-hoc duties as required
Skills & Experience Required:
● BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
● 5+ years’ demonstrated experience implementing Commercial Off the Shelf products at an enterprise level
● IMWS, Facilities, Financial, Lease, Project, Property, Space Management software experience beneficial
