Your team responsibilities Key support in financial analysis & operations for Investment finance & performance measurement. The person will be a crucial part of FPA team which is involved in tracking investments, building controls & enhance transparency around Investment processes while also consolidating and managing QBR and Board decks. Your key responsibilities

• Manage the internal investments for various Product lines within MSCI and reporting the same
• Track investments in terms of the cost and benefits by coordinating with the stakeholders and updating the necessary reports
• Create financial / business analysis on a pro-active basis, summarize conclusions and provide key takeaways to business units, corporate finance and senior management
• Having complete control of various management decks like Board Deck, Quarterly Investments Review, Strategy related decks, Quarterly Business Reviews etc.
• Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the division’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan
• Should possess strong FP&A skillset to provide support on budget & forecast processes & handling queries
• Develop and generate financial reports, both routine and ad-hoc and be prompt in providing details regarding the area or work handled
• Driving standardization & automation of existing reports across various Segments/Functions
• Development of new reports on (Power BI) BI Tool (including liaising with Corporate Finance IT) based on team’s requirements & presenting and obtaining buy-in from end users for rollout
• Should be able to work independently and deliver on required output while also ensuring that overall deliverables of the team are under check

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

• Minimum relevant experience of 10+ years in Financial Planning & Analysis function
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required. CA or MBA Finance would be preferred
• Strong finance experience in a professional business environment
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
• Should be extremely well versed with MS PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Prior team handling experience would be an added advantage
• Demonstrated proficiency in providing accurate and detailed financial analysis in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and should be able to multi-task
• Proactive individual who should take initiative with an analytical bent of mind
