Job Description

• Manage all operations in the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition etc
• Manage a team of accounting staff – Provide leadership, guidance and support to the team
• Responsible for the performance of the Accounting department and operations
• Coordinating and directing budgetary and financial forecasts
• Coordinating regulatory reporting
• Ensure all compliance is met in each country
• Close all books on a monthly basis for India, Philippines and USA
• Preparing and publishing monthly financial statements by country and consolidated for the Group
• Researching technical accounting issues for compliance
• Ensuring quality control for financial reporting and transactions
• Managing and complying with reporting requirements and tax filings for local, state and federal government
• Developing and documenting accounting policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls
• Report variance on a monthly basis at a cost/profit center and consolidated basis
• Provides other management reports and analytics to help organization achieve its goals
• Liasion with Banks and Financial Institutions for Working Capital/ Credit Lines
• Ad Hoc Strategic Finance Projects

Requirements And Skills

• CA or MBA from a reputed Business School
• 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in a BPO or ITO Company
• Exposure to 100% EOU/ EDZ/ STPI requirements for tax breaks
• Experienced in Monthly & Annual financial closes
• Power User in MS Excel – Formulas, Pivot tables, Dynamic Linking
• Excellent presentation and preparation skills in PowerPoint
• Above average fluency in English
• Highly Analytical
• Team Player
• This role requires you to be available with a 3 to 4 hour overlap to US Central time since the entire team works in US Hours
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
