Netflix Looking For Coordinator – Public Policy, India at Mumbai Metropolitan Region Full Time

The Coordinator – Public Policy at Netflix India will play a critical role in supporting the Public Policy team in administrative, operational and project execution capacities. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and a proactive approach to ensuring the successful execution of team initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be adept at handling contracts, budgets, and knowledge management while collaborating with government stakeholders, external vendors, and internal cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and Operational Support:
• Manage the team budget, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of expenses.
• Oversee contracting and billing processes for projects, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
• Provide high-quality knowledge management support, including developing and maintaining trackers, workflows, and other organizational tools.

• Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with the Creative Equity Team (XFN) and coordinate with external partners to execute projects aligned with the Creative Equity Fund.
• Partner with central and state government entities on initiatives such as IFFI, WAVES conferences, and skilling projects.
• Develop strong working relationships with government stakeholders to enable effective engagement and impactful participation.
• Engage and manage external vendors for project execution, which can include setting up pavilions, panels, and other event-related activities.

• Communication and Alignment:
• Draft internal memos to facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams for non-regulatory projects.
• Secure necessary permissions for title, trailer, and other media usage during projects by liaising with internal communications, marketing, and publicity teams.

• General Team Support:
• Manage Diwali lists, gifting, swag distribution, and other team initiatives.
• Ensure smooth execution of team workflows and processes in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Experience: 4-5 years in roles involving project management, vendor coordination or public policy support.
• Budgeting: Strong budgeting skills with proven experience in financial tracking and reporting.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft internal memos and reports.
• Project Management: Experience in managing vendors and external partners while adhering to schedules and timelines.
• Multi-tasking: Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Discretion: Capability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Collaboration: A team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Google apps suite.
