Overview: We are looking for a talented and experienced media professional to lead our Editorial Cluster’s growth and content strategy across platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X (Formerly Twitter), Snapchat, WhatsApp, Spotify, Linkedln. Etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background, deep understanding of daily news dynamics, should be well versed with platform data analytics, and cross functional team management experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: 6-10+ years in digital media and social media management.
- Languages: Proficient in English and any Indian regional language ((As many possible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Curate and create strategies for engaging content for a cluster of channels, fostering connections with a diverse audience.
- Conduct thorough competitive analysis to inform and enhance our social media strategies for platforms.
- Develop, optimize, and execute comprehensive editorial plans that adhere to industry standards.
- Ensure the accuracy and clarity of news content while maintaining a logical flow of information.
- Innovate and adapt content to stand out in a competitive landscape, leveraging current trends and audience insights.
- Adept in social media analytics and tracking.
Desired Skills:
- Deep, extensive knowledge of the social ecosystem and landscape
- Should be good with MS Excel, Power point
- Preferably from a news or content background.
- Versatile and creative thinker who can navigate through the news crazy funnel
- Excellent multitasking abilities and strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- A commitment to maintaining high-quality content standards and best practices in digital journalism.
- Can conduct training on platform features, guidelines etc.
