Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and gather requirements with business (end users) and internal services
Customize list views, queues, reports, and dashboards for Salesforce teams
Automate processes using Salesforce platform such as workflow, process builder, and validation rules
Customize and configure objects, data fields, page layouts, record types and validation workflows and other 3rd party applications
Maintain security such as user accounts, mobile user accounts, sharing rules, user roles, user profiles and permissions, field level security, content folder rights, groups, list view rights
Maintain overall system configuration, change control, and enhancements
Maintain database and data records for integrity, ownership, and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management
Manage mass data imports and exports
Manage operational requests and troubleshoot issues, working with diverse user groups and potentially with business leaders
Proactively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in existing systems and implement enhancements
Assist in developing and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help related materials
Provide Salesforce training and user support
Assists in conducting training of Business Owners for new features and helps with roll-out.
Requirements
2+ years of previous experience as a Salesforce Administrator
Well-versed in agile methodology / processes
Experience in Service Cloud (Sales Cloud a bonus); good understanding and in-the-know of current trends and features for Service Cloud
Basic understanding of Salesforce coding (APEX, Java etc.)
Basic understanding of Salesforce integration options
Proficient with data manipulation tools and uploading techniques (Data Loader, Workbench, Excel, Plug-Ins)
Excellent critical thinking, stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements and features
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision
Excellent inter-team working skills to develop strong partnership with partner, tech team and operating at leadership levels
Good to have: background in retail, eCommerce, logistics or transportation technologies.
