Job Description

We are looking for Reference Executive in Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, Global Business Services (CSCA GBS) , Bangalore, India. You can look forward to an exciting job driving different projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders at the global level.
The position As an Reference Executive you are responsible to govern the operations for Veeva Vault PromoMats library for global and across affiliates, so that the data integrity and re-usage of jobs, components, references and anchors in PromoMats are kept at their highest levels.
You Keep references clean and those should be free from any markup before they are uploaded to PromoMats, and references should always be tagged with the right metadata such as country, authors, number of pages, reference type, issue number, etc. You keep references normalized that means references should not be duplicated. PromoMats has a duplicate check feature that checks the equality of files, but equality of references goes further than this. A Reference might, for example, be equal to another if it is a new issue of the same article. The files would be different but semantically they are equal; the new reference is just a new version of the older article. You Keep references up to date by always stating the latest version in PromoMats. If a version of an article no longer is valid, it should be replaced with a newer valid version or be expired entirely and you do regular clean-up tasks.
For Submission Management you review of references and reference linking for the new materials developed by content hub based on historic jobs, for the MLR review of assets on Veeva Vault PromoMats and facilitate the process between the content production team and Brand manager until the asset is Approved for distribution and collaborate with Project Manager, Agency/Content hub partner and other team members for smooth operations and execution
You do a thorough review of components metadata and relationships with the documents and approval of components like Timely approval and management of the components as per the agreed SOP, Communicate with end-users and help them solve issues they have regarding components, Curation and Publishing of the content into Veeva portal, Review metadata before uploading and publishing, and effective collaboration with Project Manager, Marketing & other team members for smooth operations.
And you Manage multiple stakeholder expectations and accordingly allocate project resources and also work cross functionally with internal IT team to improve systems
Qualifications You need to have the below knowledge and skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with results in top 10%, with relevant business experience, e.g. from web designing firms
• Flair for it systems and data relations, especially with Veeva Promomats
• Knowledge of life science/medical publishing
• Knowledge of medical, legal and regulatory references/documents in the context of life science marketing
• Organized, Analytical, Enjoys working with structuring data/information and Interested in the academic world of life science
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence all levels of the business
• Highly-motivated self-starter with developed ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Push team, agencies, and stakeholders if necessary to achieve results, demonstrate drive, initiative, and explicitly show a can-do mentality towards project tasks
• Take an active role in Novo Nordisk business understanding and demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing business priorities
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, willing to take ownership of deliverables and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously, seeing all through to completion
• Appreciate the attention to detail tasks and take pride in delivering highest quality outcomes

About the department The Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (CSCA GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within CSCA, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The CSCA GBS unit also supports Biopharm global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. In Obesity Commercial Unit, we are focused on changing the way obesity is viewed and treated today, as well as increasing number of people who receive innovative treatments and quality care. In addition to driving innovative market development and communication efforts, the unit is responsible for the global commercialization and optimization of Saxenda® and Obesity & NASH pipelines.
