The Engineering function is responsible for all engineering activities within the firm to ensure that business objectives are met. Includes the creation, development, design, and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards, and procedures in all engineering fields.

The primary responsibility of this job is to ensure the growth of the organization’s technology portfolio through concept/idea formulation and prototype development in line with the business strategy, requirement, and specifications. These individuals participate in the evolution and development of new innovative architectures and methods to maintain, upgrade, replace and improve the long-term performance of the existing architectures. They will be required to interact with development teams, Project Managers and Business Analysts and create and/or translate business requirements into executable plans.

• Experience in Leading and drives solution discussions both with business and other IT personnel.

• Experience in designing and developing interfaces between SAP and non-SAP.

• Experience with consuming SOAP and REST based web services in SAP.

• Experience with designing, developing, and implementing SAP Workflows.

• Experience in SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA from a technical standpoint and knowledge of various SAP products and SAP technologies.

• Full life-cycle SAP implementations experience using a recognized methodology.

• Experience to all aspects of an SAP environment – PI, SolMan, IDOCs, BW, and HANA.

• Designing and architecting solutions and supporting SAP workloads in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Experience with Azure or other Hyperscalers and any related certifications.

• Cloud infrastructure management experience.

• Strong knowledge on S4/HANA, Fiori, and Integration between SAP & non-SAP systems.

• Analyzing existing architecture, make recommendations to reach given objectives and propose target solution architectures.

• Analyze high-level feasibility of business requirements concerning SAP solutions.

• Understanding End2End processes and provide recommendations for possible improvements.

• Supporting technical architecture and development teams in their development tasks and solutions to meet the needs of the customers with Migrations and Upgrades.

• Ability to lead discussions, present ideas and complex technical content to audiences of all sizes and interact with client management and users from multiple countries.

The Solution Architect will be working together with the Operations Excellence team for enabling solutions to create analytical models based on the flow of data from the shop floor to the cloud resulting in quality and actionable data insights. Automation of routine manual processes will be key to increase operational efficiency and reduce data obscurity.
