Job Description

We are looking for a Visual Designer with a minimum of 2 years of experience designing digital marketing campaigns from start to finish. You know how to get to students’ hearts so they trust you and will take action. You know how important branding, consistency, and design personality are to a company. NuCash’s team works at a rapid clip with an action-centric, “let’s get this done” kind of attitude. We like go-getters with big ideas who know how to craft a sleek, smart, user-oriented campaign.

As a Visual Designer, you’ll work closely with the marketing team and members of the UX team to invent and cement a consistent visual style that fits our brand identity snugly. You’ll also help define our brand and take charge of transforming concepts into deliverables, from emails to social to display ads, to landing pages, and beyond.

Responsibilities

:

Produce pixel-perfect creative that clearly communicates our value propositions and help build and reinforce our brand identity

Contribute to the culture of a growing team through your ideas and passion for design & marketing

Design concepts across media, including websites, mobile and email marketing, brand guidelines, etc.

Participate in campaign planning, gathering student insights, testing concepts and exploring design and messaging solutions

Help to define, build upon and grow NuCash’s brand and personality while maintaining our brand style guide for all teams to utilize & reference

Support a wide range of graphic design needs for ads assets, proposals and interfaces.

Collaborate with product designers to ensure product + brand alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need:
2+ years of experience.

Good visual-design fundamentals: A degree in Graphic Design, Communications Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrate strong visual expertise with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skill across several platforms

Expertise in Illustrator and Photoshop or equivalent digital design tools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey creative concepts in a way that engages and inspires.

Ability to work with ambiguity in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Passion for youth culture, voice, and trends with excellent oral and written communications.

You are a team player and ready to jump in & get your hands dirty on whatever is needed anytime anywhere.

Design experience in illustration and motion graphics.
