Data Analyst

Onit (Bodhala) – Pune, Maharashtra, India – Full Time

We are looking for start-up minded Data Analyst to be the foundational members of our rapidly growing Engineering organization. Our culture is focused on ownership, transparency, and community.

T he Data Analyst is responsible for assisting and leading several data QA projects on our existing data stores, using data to develop new platform features, and enhancing and uploading incoming datasets.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving client data files and uploading them into Bodhala’s database

• Implementing quality assurance processes with the data and engineering teams

• Researching and correcting issues with data loaded onto the platform

• Communicating with the client success team on issues relating to data

• Learning about legal spend analytics

• Participating in data projects — labeling data and engineering features

• Communicating insights and helping to structure data roadmap

  Preferred Skills

• 0-2 years of experience in a data analytics role

• Advanced knowledge of Excel (array formulas, index/match, text manipulation, etc.)

• Intermediate knowledge of SQL (array formulas, subqueries), experience with PostgreSQL a plus

• Knowledge of Python (Pandas, SQLAlchemy, BeautifulSoup, etc.) a plus

• Ability to operate in highly ambiguous situations

• Highly organized, detail oriented, highly accurate and able to manage multiple priorities

  Qualifications

• Any bachelor’s degree. A degree in quantitative field, data science and analytics related degrees will be a plus.
