Who we are looking for:
To provide exceptional service, support, and communication through the direct management of open client and vendor orders from fulfillment to invoice creation. This role will also work as a liaison with our vendor partner community, purchasing, and accounts payable. The Purchasing Assistant will report to the Operations Manager.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Validate fulfillment documentation and fulfill purchase orders in accordance with current service level turnaround time (within 24 hours)
- Code the purchasing Outlook mailbox and manage internal customer inquiries and communications in a professional manner ensuring that resolution is always provided
- Follow up with vendors monthly on all open purchase orders
- Work with sales operations to update term dates on renewal orders as needed
- Maintain order fulfillment documentation
- Research & revise any issues working with sales personnel linking all relevant documentation within NetSuite for auditing purposes.
- Work closely with accounts payable and vendor contacts to resolve billing issues or error.
- Maintain a high degree of communication, cooperation and coordination with internal departments
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base on product management through all aspects of the purchasing lifecycle

- Strong attention to detail
- Sound computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- High school diploma and at least 2 years work experience or college degree.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Candidate must have excellent organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
