Job Title: Senior Member of Technical Staff The Product Development group has an immediate job opening for developers in its Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team. The team is responsible for providing the highest level of customer satisfaction through the development of next generation features that augment the latest Cloud infrastructure and provide artificial intelligence & machine learning capabilities. The team enjoys solving hard problems that have an immediate impact and delight the customers. Oracle Service Cloud delivers best-in-class Enterprise Cloud customer experience (CX) solutions, giving world-class organizations the technology to deliver optimized B2C and B2B support across multiple platforms, including social and mobile, through cloud deployments. You will have the opportunity to work independently to drive best practices with product managers and senior technology leaders solving complex technical problems – a critical role in driving the continued success of Oracle CX. :
In this position you will be working in the Engineering team along with product managers to develop the latest and greatest features and help drive further adoption of Customer Experience (CX) products. The position requires building infrastructure and tools to collect/analyze data for specific use cases and create insights and action plans off of that. You will be part of a tight knit Agile development team that works hard and celebrates success. Our ideal candidate for this position has the ability to apply leading design patterns, develop solutions employing industry best practices and processes, and the ability to perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment. The position is at our Hyderabad office in India. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience, including programming and strong Java development experience.
• Experience working with MySQL or Oracle database.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and interns.
• Testing and DevOps first mindset.
• Experience with OO design principles, patterns and practices, micro-service architecture.
• Experience in application development using Spring boot, REST, Hibernate, JavaScript Frameworks such as React, Knockout, Node/Angular JS, CSS & HTML5 etc.
• Experience working as part of a team doing state-of-the-art object-oriented software development, including continuous integration, integration testing and automated unit testing.
• Experience using distributed queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with cloud computing infrastructure such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OpenStack, or AWS.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container orchestration frameworks such as Docker, Nomad, Kubernetes, or Mesos.
• Experience building enterprise software that is secure, stateless, scalable and has high availability (HA).
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, logging and monitoring tools.
• A broader set of technology skills at your disposal, such as: XML, XSLT, Database/schema design, SQL syntax, Unix/Linux development, etc.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
