Java Full Stack Developer ( Cloud Application Engineer ):

The development group in the CEGBU is focused on developing enterprise level solutions for our customers in project intensive industries. Our applications provide project and portfolio management, contract management, resource management, and risk management solutions used by customers worldwide. Our development practices include continuous build and integration, monthly reviews, and a heavy emphasis on testing early and often with unit tests and test automation.

Responsibilities:

As a Full stack Application Developer of the Cloud Engineering Group, you will:

• Work cooperatively with a team of programmers and QA engineers to develop and improve Cloud solutions.

• Develop, maintain and coordinate programming deliverables including builds, unit tests and code reviews.

• Initiate and foster collaborative relationships with peers and other developers to achieve group and divisional objectives.

• Facilitate continuous process improvements.

• Ramp-up rapidly on multiple products from CEGBU.

• Develop/enhance the features, bug fixes for a Java based front end Cloud provisioning application which in the backend is heavily automated using Docker & Kubernetes.

Desired Skills :

• Good experience of 3 yrs to 12 yrs on Core Java /J2EE development.

• Thorough understanding of OO principles and design patterns.

• Experience with Web-tier technologies such as JSPs, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Spring, JPA and Restful web services is must to have ( Exp : 3 yr to 12 yrs)

• Ability to quickly analyze and assess critical functional and performance related issues in a J2EE environment.

• Experience on front end UI technologies like angularJS/nodejs is good to have.

• Experience working in an Unix/Linux based systems with ability to use basic unix commands..

• Experience on GIT versioning tool is required.

• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes, etc is good to have

• Experience in Python/Shell scripting is good to have.

• Experience or Knowledge on Jenkins is good to have.

• Experience with J2EE Application Servers such as WebLogic

• Experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database platforms.

• Experience in Qunit, JUnit and Selenium.

• Experience with Java performance analysis tools is good to have.

• Experience working with Agile development practices and in scrum model.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
