Job Description

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

5-10 years of experience in handling DevOps Architect in a Cloud-Based Environment with the following high-level requirements-

• Experience in architecting and implementing large enterprise DevOps solutions. Performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.

• Deep expertise & knowledge in implementing CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) methodologies with Azure Pipeline, Jenkins, etc. on Container-Based Environments like Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.

• Proven experience in coding & scripting DevOps, Ant/Maven, Groovy, Terraform, Shell Scripting, and Helm Chart skills.

• Experience in API Integrations.

• Kubernetes – Experience with managing Kubernetes clusters and using kubectl for managing helm chart deployments, ingress services, and troubleshooting pods.

• OS Services – Basic Knowledge to Manage, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux operating system issues (Linux), storage (block and object), networking (VPCs, proxies, and CDNs)

• Monitoring and instrumentation – Implement metrics in Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, log management and related systems, and Slack/PagerDuty/Sentry integrations.

Responsibilities

Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high-quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to develop the skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cloud DevOpsArchitect

• Deep expertise & knowledge in implementing CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) methodologies with Azure Pipeline, Jenkins, etc. on Container-Based Environments like Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.

• Automate Provisioning, Deployment, and Delivery in the Cloud-Based Environment (Kubernetes, Openshift etc)

• Experience in Taking Application Code and Third Party Products and Building Fully Automated Pipelines for Java Applications to Build, Test and Deploy Complex Systems for delivery in Cloud.

• Ability to Containerize an Application i.e. creating Docker Containers and Pushing them to an Artifact Repository for deployment on containerization solutions with OKE (Oracle container Engine for Kubernetes) using Helm Charts.

• Support and Troubleshoot Cloud Deployment and Environment Issues

• You will be responsible for specification, set-up, and running of Proof-of-concept/prototype (in lab environment) work on a range of Oracle products and solutions in an Onprem/public cloud /hybrid environment

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience

• 5-10 (or more) years of experience in the specified area
