Meet Our Team:

We are The Expediters team, responsible for maintaining infrastructure and components, building and running automation tests to ensure a stable 24×7 environment. We are the first contact for developers, providing guidance and establishing best practices for an “as a Service” culture.

Picture Yourself at Pega:

As a Software Engineer in SDEA, you will manage operations smoothly while working with new and emerging technologies to develop automation and enhance the stability of tools, systems, and processes. You will interact with and guide the Engineering teams and provide regular feedback to leadership for improvements.

What You’ll Do at Pega:

• Designing and Developing automation tests & frameworks leveraging the latest tools & technologies

• Verify the stability of systems by executing manual and automated tests

• Identifying and analyzing bugs that result from frequent changes to the systems

• Actively maintain automation tests

• Managing low-cost test resources for executing automation tests

• Continuously engage in provisioning, deployment, upgrade activities

• Identify areas of improvement and automate the processes

• Work with different teams in the organization for a healthy and stable environment in ever evolving dynamics of infrastructure

Who You Are:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Out of the box thinking and innovative approach

• Experience in Java or any other Object-Oriented programming language

• Hands on with Playwright or any other leading automation tool

What You’ve Accomplished:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field experience

• 2-3 years of experience in building test automation & framework with Playwright

• Strong understanding of testing concepts for a microservice architecture

• Basic understanding of Cloud & DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, HELM, Jenkins/ GitHub actions

• Hands on managing applications in AWS, Azure or any other leading Cloud provider

• Proficient in Java, Kotlin or any other Object-Oriented programming language

• Team player who is eager to gain and share knowledge

• Able to manage conflicts with focus on finding resolution to the problems
