JOB TITLE: SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates the production of engineering deliverables and provides progress reporting, in accordance with the plan. Coordinates input from multiple engineering offices, multiple disciplines, project controls, procurement, and third-party contractors or suppliers. Project Engineers II may be responsible for an area of a project or for a small project/study.
• The Project Engineer II generally works under the Project Engineering Manager or Senior Project Engineer and will keep them informed of all activities and progress.
• Corporate reporting line is to respective Departmental/Group Manager.
• Coordinates production and issue of deliverables between the Engineering team and the Project Controls team.
• Provides inputs to the project technical document register.
• Ensures that interface issues between disciplines are identified and communicated to Direct Supervisor.
• Assists in the production of the coordination procedures for the project.
• Provides progress monitoring and reporting against that plan. Identifies shortfalls and communicates these to Direct Supervisor.
• Assists in the preparation and presentation of the final documentation in accordance with requirements of the Client acceptance certificates.
• Ensuring compliance with Petrofac’s ISO Quality procedures, Project Quality Plan and Design Integrity processes and procedures. Complying with other Petrofac accredited frameworks such as ISO14001.
• Performs related duties as agreed with Senior Project Engineer/ Project Engineering Manager.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with related experience working for Engineering/Client organization in the Oil and Gas, petrochemical Industry.
