Lead Architect for Diagnostic Xray Business category in Pune, responsible for the reference architecture, technology roadmaps, platforms across the complete Diagnostic Xray product lines that includes Fixed Radiography, Mobile Radiography, Flouroscopy and Xray, AI Solutions and Digital initiatives etc.
Your role:
Lead architect for all DXR Product lines, hardware and software platforms
Translates Philips and business strategy into software and hardware architecture requirements and architecture roadmap, balancing current and future customer and business as well as regulatory needs
The Lead Architect will drive the Architecture Strategy for harmonization of various modules across DXR products
Drives and owns adoption of key elements of the Philips Reference Architecture andModular Systems Architecture definition with high strategic business impact
Drives the architecture definition, implementation and adoption for several strategic architecture initiatives and work together with key functions for developing technology roadmaps across business (e.g. Smart Connected Devices, Digital Transformation, Modular Innovation Platform, reference architectures for common building blocks, platforms alignment and scoping, selection of strategic Philips industry standards and technologies, etc.)
Represent the business technologically in strategic architecture teams and initiatives
Lead the AI & Digital architecture for DXR for the AI and Data enabled solutions
Guides R&D MT on technical choices that have long term impact on portfolio
Guides the business management team on technology choices that have business impact (e.g. reference architecture, operating systems strategy, platform variation points)
Guide the team of Architects who provide architectural assets and architectural capacity to thebusinesses
Thorough understanding of products, subsystems, technology, standards and architecture opportunities, and ability to translates business strategy into deployable solutions, reference and platform architectures
Decide in alignment with stakeholders on the architectural scope, taking different views into account, addressing the life cycle value and TCO. Manage trade-offs between conflicting requirements of multiple stakeholders
Acts within the total context, customer, (business, organization, roadmaps, external world, overall ecosystem, Regulatory etc.): driving for convergence; capturing / re-using prior art and in- and external trends; staying up to date regarding professional knowledge
Choose in alignment with stakeholders the optimal architecture for the businesses, where choices are closely aligned with (strategic) business drivers, organizational processes and applicable business constraints or standards
You’re the right fit if:
18+ years of software, hardware architecture experience with minimum 5 years of experience in leadership role
Proven experience as a Lead of Architecture or similar leadership role in large matrix-based organizations or agile and scalable startups
Proven track record of multi generational, product/platform rollouts that have made a true impact in the world of technology
Experience in AI Solutions and Digital initiatives
Experience of working with architects, product management, R&D/leaders, cross function teams, cross function architects, internal and external customers
Strategic mindset with business insights, drives vision and purpose
Architectural thinking and creation
Knowledge of technological trends to build disruptive strategies
Understanding of budgets and business-planning, proficient with frugal engineering concepts
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research in a highly regulated environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience in Healthcare sector or Medical Devices
Ability to bring an outside-in perspective, embrace the digital transformation role and move the organization towards effective integration of business relevant platforms from across the enterprise.
Academic excellence in Engineering or any related field
Experience in healthcare standards and protocols, customer environment / processes / protocols, and compliance requirements and regulations
Experience of working in Computing concepts, Lean / Agile product/platform development a plus
