Your Job Summary:

You will ensure achievement of sales targets in terms of revenues, volumes sell-in, sell-out, market share and Profit goals along with expanding Dealer network for the region.

• Identifying potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities and overseeing new marketing initiatives
• Responsible for Key Account Management for key accounts and managing relationships with critical stake holders
• Coordinating and managing technical and commercial bid preparation including cost estimates etc.
• Developing and maintaining liaison/network with relevant stakeholders especially government agencies
• Analyzing the development and understand the nature of the Vehicle/ market eco-system
• Updating knowledge in current and emerging technologies
• Preparation of bidding documents, submission, and follow up with clients.
• Building strong relation with Dealers, Regional Sales & Service teams to deploy actions in new Markets.
• Screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and financials and evaluating options
• Supporting the sales team to recognizing prospective customers, increasing the number of enquires and working towards high conversion ratio
• Developing location wise strategies based on potential and opportunities and supporting these locations through inputs on activities and resources
• Managing existing customers and network to ensure continued satisfaction and building on solutions to meet their evolving needs
• Recommending products to customers, based on their needs and interests and responding to customer’s queries on products, prices, availability and credit terms
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities, identifying opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to increase in sales.
• Monitoring market conditions, product innovations and competitor’s products, prices and sales as well as customer preferences to determine sales efforts and actions
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales by increasing the value of current customers and attracting potential customers
• Identifying and developing the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators by using knowledge of the market and competitors data
• Creating and maintaining up-to-date market, sales and financial forecasts to support volume reporting and assessment of business activities
• Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; examining risks and potentials and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with high volume clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.
• Drive the dealer teams to assist in identifying new prospects and to widen the sales funnel.
• Research, develop and source new potential clients and maintain a healthy pipeline of customers for future expansion plans for the territory.
• Study & analyze key customer’s potential and wants and needs.
• Liaisoning with key fleet aggregators to ensure business performance. and improve company share of business.
• Manage the order process and ensure vehicles are delivered in a timely manner.
• Resolve customers’ complaints and ensure seamless and regular interaction with the regional after sales team in an effective manner.
• Track competition activities & formulate action plan to retain & enhance Key Customer base.
• Measure, track and analyze key account metrics and maintain MIS for the clusters on regular basis.
• Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices.

Essential Qualification:

• B. E / B. Tech (Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering)
• Desired Qualification
• MBA (Business Administration/ Marketing)
• Extensive experience with customer account management, delivering sales and margin growth within a B2B environment.

Work Experience:

• Total 6- 8 years of experience in the industry, with proven sales experience of minimum 5 years in an Automobile Sector

Preferred Technical Skills and Certification :

• Exposure and knowledge of the 3 Wheeler Business and Business development experience for an Automotive manufacturer
• Strong capability for business planning, project management and forecast control

Preferred Industry Experience

• Automobile engineering like Commercial Vehicles, Passenger Vehicles, Three-Wheeler, Tractor Industry or related fields
