Job Description

• Identify BCT & yield improvement opportunities for major products, collaborate with various stakeholders like R & D, Operations and implement action items at site.
• Connect with operations team and site leads and identify potential areas for improvement in time cycle of unit operations / processes.
• Develop, propose, and implement technical solutions at site.
• Monitor the progress of proposed technical improvements at site.
• Carry out technical assessment of unit operations e.g. heat transfer, distillation, mixing, filtration using standard engineering calculations and implement improvement solutions.
• Develop process scheme/POC, vendor identification and evaluation, CER preparation, coordinating with vendor, addressing current problems with solutions, ensuring implementation at site.
• Plan and execute POC trials for evaluation of new technology initiatives.
• Assess energy efficient alternate technologies, engage with cross functional stakeholders for evaluation & support implementation at site.
• Collaborate with EHS department to identify EHS improvement projects at sites, ETP upgradation requirements, create proposals and support implementation.
• Upgradation in level of safety and automation in current & new processes covering unit operations, material storage, handling, and management of hazardous chemicals.
• Drive & implement cost improvement projects.
• Participate in CFT to resolve recurring quality complaints / issues which are related to process.
