Reporting to: Quality Assurance & CI Manager

Criteria:
B.E/ B.Tech with MBA (Marketing) with 4+ years of experience in process industry or automobile.

Other Skill:
Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma

Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience

Experience with implementation of corrective action programs

Product or industry-specific experience

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases

Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA

Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements

Objectives/Job Details

Support Quality Management systems (ISO 9001:2015) in the plant, to profitably fulfil customer expectations.

Customer contact in the plant for all Quality related issues. Periodic visits to customer sites. Voice of the customer in the plant.

Participate in driving achievement of Quality assurance objectives in manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and implementing best practices.

Model our Corporate Guiding Principles (MBM), maintain and grow the culture, strive for Operational excellence in product, process quality and reliability.

Interact with all processes and cross functional teams to implement necessary quality tools in all aspects of organization such as, but not limited to PFMEA, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, Equipment PFMEA and Validation, Advanced problem solving, and 6 Sigma.

Support and facilitate structured containment measures with the use of problem-solving methods (8D, DMAIC, 5WHY, Cause mapping…) and implement permanent corrective actions.

Maintain proper Measurement systems and all necessary statutory and regulatory compliance in relation to applicable product standards.

Draft quality assurance policies and procedures

Interpret and implement quality assurance standards

Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards

Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data

Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems

Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality

Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities

Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues

Collect and compile statistical quality data

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers

Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions

Monitor risk management activities
