JOB OPPORTUNITY/DESCRIPTION

Title: IT Software Engineer

Reports To: Manager

Location: Bangalore

JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a .NET developer with a passion for existing and emerging technologies and who has experience using these technologies to develop highly scalable solutions. This person should do technical design and build the solutions for Polaris International ordering portal tool (Optimizely product) using various technologies like .NET, C#, JavaScript and ReactJS. This person should preferably have experience in Optimizely Commerce cloud.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :  Work with analysts and project managers to make enhancements to Optimizely dealer portal (both front end portal changes and backend business logic changes as needed) for Polaris International.  Develop applications aligning to industry best practices, enterprise architecture guidelines.  Understand the business requirements and functional design and translate them into working solution.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE :  Four-year degree in MIS, computer science, business or equivalent technical degree (or equivalent work experience).  3+ years of experience as developer in the technologies like VB.NET, C# , ASP.NET, ReactJS and REST APIs  Experience in GIT and Azure cloud computing  Must have experience building cross browser applications in an object-oriented environment using application development technologies including web services, Ajax, JavaScript, DHTML, XML, developing against SQL Server, C# .NET, and Object-Oriented software design.  Highly preferable to have experience with Optimizely Commerce Cloud, having ‘Optimizely Configured Commerce Cloud Developer certification’ is an added advantage.
