Job Description

Work Loacaation-BAHRAIN Main Equipment involved-– Major overhaul of Gas Turbines and steam turbines.
– Annual Maintenance of Heat Recovery Boiler.
– Atlas Copco Air Compressors, each of capacity 15,000 m3/hr.
– Mitsubishi Gas compressors , each of capacity 90 MMscfd
– RO & Demin water plant: 4 units of RO cum Demin plants
– Associated equipment for the above power stations: –
Air-cooled condenser (ACC), HRSG, Water Steam Cycle (WSC), pumps, fans,
valves, blowers, air compressors, control and isolation valvesQualification & Experience: – Holder of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
– Work experience of Min 4 years in Power plants, petrochemical, oil & Gas
plants is needed.
– Prior work experience in carrying out Annual Maintenance contracts,
attending defects, which utilizes the skill set mentioned below.Technical Skills set needed-– Capable to carry out maintenance inspection, Troubleshooting, repair,
Overhauling and including identification of Spares.
– Capable of carrying out Measurement, using Hand tools, using power
tools and using pneumatic tools.
– Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving
parts and equipment that operate primarily on mechanical principles.
– Dismantle pumps, fans, blowers, valves, repair/ replace defective
parts and re-assemble
– Align machinery and equipment using dial gauges, micrometer, scales,
squares and hoists.
– Lift and move machinery & equipment using hoists, rollers,
dollies.
– Shrink fit bushings, sleeves, liners, gears & wheels to
specified items as per job requirement.
– Insert shims; adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts
using hand tools, torque wrenches and measuring instruments, to set
specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
– Removal and re-fixing bearings, fixing seals adjustment of clearances.
– Conduct preventive maintenance, lubricate, and repair machinery and
equipment.
– Fabricate and dismantle parts, equipment, and machines using a cutting
torch or other cutting equipment.
– Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause
of errors or other problems or defects.
– Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best
solution and solve problems.Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
