Overview of the job

We are looking for an expert construction process owner for end-to-end management of site facilities projects from Scope creation to Project Handover to collaborators. Individual will be responsible to prioritize and supervise project design coordination, construction standards, procedures and ensure they meet, safety, quality standards and completed timely and efficiently to meet P&G & local requirements by working in a very fast paced driven environment.

The candidate must be well-versed in all Project Management techniques and procedures and able to coordinate a team of specialists of different subject areas to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have a critical thinking, partnership, teamwork and great interpersonal skills. The goal will be to ensure the project delivery with all fundamentals (Safety/Quality/Internal Controls) and cost work as per target timelines and assigned budget.

Your team

This role reports to Technical Service Management (TSM) Operational Department Manager (ODM) TSM team is the site Engineering team which is responsible for delivering technical output deliveries of Utilities, Capital System Management (CSM), Health Safety & Environment (HSE) & facilities. There is a team of project initiators, construction safety owner & construction management organization which reports into this role.

• Zero Safety, Quality and Internal control issues via driving systems and Daily management Systems (DMS) in all projects being implemented.
• Right the first-time execution to avoid rework and related losses.
• Design & construction of new facilities projects to enhance user experience by adopting best in class industry standards.
• Maintaining facilities standards at sustainable cost & driving cost reduction YOY by innovating & efficient execution.
• Lead, coach and build capability of all site facility project Team to deliver the projects right first time & on schedule.

Responsibilities Of The Role

Below will be key responsibilities for this role, but it will not be only limited to this, and it can change basis project need.

• Execution of all projects with the highest level of safety, Quality & controls standard
• Develops & owns facilities master plan and ensures delivery of E2E Projects related to site facilities to best in class standards.
• Own and deliver project across all engineering work process from feasibility, conceptual, definition, design/construct to start up phases.
• Ensure all project related audits are being conducted at regular basis and deliver outstanding results.
• Ensure due diligence of project management systems during all Engineering Work processes (EWP) phases of projects.
• Tracking cost for each project to ensure no budget overspend over commitment.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners (eg Purchase, Vendors, Internal site team) for magnificent execution of projects
• Coordinate design reviews, share inputs to design, complete the designs on time with design company.
• Coordinate project execution end to end while maintaining best in class standards.
• Vendor site visits, evaluation, qualification Preparing BVOA’s (Best value Options analysis) for vendor finalization.
• Review of construction contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements as per latest project management practices.
• Resolve needed resources (workforce, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. Resource planning and levelling
• Plan all construction operations/execution and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
• Prepare regularly project MIS reports to showcase project progress and help needed from leadership team.

Job Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech Engineering– in Civil or MBA
• Master’s degree in project management/ PMP or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
• Validated experience of min 2-3 year as construction project manager for large scale industrial projects (FMCG/Pharma)
• Good understanding of capital management system
• Good knowledge of MS Office, MS project, AutoCAD
• Good hands-on knowledge of construction/ project management software
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills – ability to operate with high subject area.
• A teammate with leadership abilities
