Public Health Foundation of India Hiring for Finance & Admin Officer at Gujarat Full Time

Public Health Foundation of India’s (PHFI) through the “NACO-PHFI-TSU” project is managing Technical Support Units – (TSUs) in five states of India namely Gujarat, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The TSUs will provide technical assistance to the State AIDS Control Societies. The project has been awarded to PHFI by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO).

• Support TSU TL in finance, admin &procurement matters.
• Internal financial management.
• Preparation of SoE on a regular basis.
• Provide assistance to the auditors appointed by the Monitoring Committee to audit the Finance and accounts of the TSU.
• Manage the reception/front office.
• Maintain records of correspondence with stakeholders.
• Maintain office files, records related to travel bookings.
• Look after the office and office equipment.
• Travel (around 20 days) as per the instruction of Team Leader.
• Provide Finance & Administrative reports/ Comparative analysis as and when required.
• Any other task as assigned by the Supervisor/Project Director

Essential:

• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com or Inter CA)

Essential:

• 3 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance.

Desirable:

• Experience of working in social development sector desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local languages and the ability to work well in an inter-disciplinary team.
• Proficiency in Tally, Computerized Financial Management/ Accounting packages, Microsoft Office
• Experience in a national/ international NGO will be given preference.
• Strong multi-tasking skills with an ability to working a team.
• Excellent communication skills. S/he should possess good writing and editing skills and ability to draft clear and effective letters.
• Proficiency in typing, Microsoft office and computer applications
• Excellent knowledge of Local language and English (Speaking, Reading and Writing)
