Responsibilities
Perform laboratory tests and experiments following established procedures and protocols
Collect and process biological samples for analysis, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards
Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functionality and availability
Assist with the development and implementation of new laboratory methodologies and procedures
Record and analyze data, and prepare detailed reports for review by medical professionals and researchers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate test results and findings
Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or a related field
Proven experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment
Strong working knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and procedures
Proficient in data analysis and reporting using computer software and applications
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in a laboratory setting
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed
