Ability to understand technical requirements for Functional and Detailed Schematics
Good understanding in reading and interpreting the principal schematics to create Detailed wiring diagrams
Conversant with various electrical equipment used for power and control, communication, interfacing circuits
Able to understand design rules and EMC requirement
Working level Expertise in Electrical software application such as Zuken E3 and AUTOCAD
Working knowledge in understanding various electrical engineering standards, different types of units, types of cables and terminals, part catalogues from manufacturers and integrating them into the schematics
Good understanding to create an entire electrical schematic from a reference project or using functional descriptions
Desirable:
Experience on Rolling stock (Rail) and standards for symbols, devices and components
Working level expertise on Rolling stock (Rail) / Schematics Design
Expert in various electrical sub-systems of Locomotive as well as Passenger trains, their functions, lay out of HV/LV cabinets, Cable ducts, Driver desks, Catenary system, Propulsion/Braking
Good knowledge on cabling and ducting principles and overall mechanical – electrical integration in a rolling stock
Proficient in electrical CAD tools such as Eplan / IGE+XAO, etc
