Roles & Responsibilities:

JD for Piping Design Engineering Experience:

• Should have 6+ years of hands-on experience in Piping Detailed Design Engineering from the accessory systems of Gas Turbine Power Plants.

• Should able to understand the ITO inputs (Inquiry to Order) – Technical Proposal

• Should have very good experience in OTR (Order to Remittance) deliverables

• Should have extensive experience in Schematics (P&ID) and in Device summary settings for Gas Turbine Accessories Systems. (e.g. Air systems – Inlet Bleed Heating, Cooling & Sealing Air, Fuel Gas Systems, and Water systems and also associated instrumentation).

• Should have very good experience in Piping, Tubing and all associated fittings, Valves and also Plant layout drawings (GA, Plot Plan)

• Should have experience in developing new Arrangement drawings & BOM inline with P&ID Schematics

• Should have experience in preparation of Ordering Specification/Modification Kit

• Should have very good experience in Preparing FMI (Field Modification Instruction manual).

• Should have experience in Piping Support & structural engineering calculations.

• Should have demonstrated ownership & decision-making of the design, considering cost, feasibility in manufacturing and fabrication.

• Should have served as primary interface with customers and have demonstrated the implementation of design requirements, design changes, analysis, and verification of the each task.

• Planning the tasks, executing and delivering on time, with cost effective and quality.

• Should have excellent Coordination skills with all Cross-Functional Teams such as GE Customers (Tech Leads, Chief Engineers), Suppliers, CCB Team, Configuration Team, Electrical Team etc.

• Engineers should have confidence with autonomy to deliver as work package is critical

• PLM ECR/ECO Process experience also will be added as advantage.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering
