Job description

We are seeking a qualified Senior Manager – Corporate Sales to lead and help build our corporate sales channel. Vehicles are needed by all mid to large corporates and we want to be the single point sales & service provider for all our partners. This is a unique opportunity to build a new business function within an existing legacy business.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience of the corporate sales process, and excels at lead generation (hunting), relationship building (farming), and closing deals. This is a people management role and hence a high EQ is a must. We’re seeking a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and an ability to lead, coach, advise, and motivate a team of sales representatives to deliver exceptional performance.

The role is based out of Hyderabad with the primary target markets in Hyderabad and extensions in Maharashtra & Karnataka. Therefore, someone with existing network access to mid to large corporates based out of Hyderabad will be a plus.

Roles & responsibilities

• Create an all-new function (and brand) within the group and collaborate with all BU leaders to enable a seamless corporate selling/servicing experience.
• Define go-to-market, hunting, and farming strategy. Also, plan marketing initiatives and more.
• Hire & lead a team of strong Corporate Sales Reps with existing market relationships. Manage their employee lifecycle in the organization including compensation and incentivization structure.
• Be willing to directly represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings to large corporates.
• Plan sales targets, and efficiently review performance to deliver exceptional results.
• In tandem with the business leaders, create annual operation plans.
• Create performance reports, to be reviewed by the CEO.
• Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners and clients.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fill them
• Ensure that company quotas and standards are met by holding check-ins with the sales team to set objectives for the day and to monitor progress

Required skills and qualifications

• Seven or more years of managing sales within a corporate setting
• Good corporate connections in the state.
• Proven record of success with the entire sales cycle, from planning to closing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Superb leadership ability.
• Ability to travel (intercity) up to 20% of the time and within the city consistently basis meeting plans/opportunities.
