Job Summary:

As a Product Manager at Rapido, you will be part of a dynamic, problems focused, metrics and science driven team. You will take ownership of specific funnels and products, contributing to problem solving via product development. You will follow the cycle of deriving insights; running science based experiments and taking the results . You’ll have to demonstrate user empathy, ask insightful questions, interpret and analyze data and actively engage in the data science and product development process. We believe in solving the last mile problem for India, across all modes of transport. Our primary focus is mobility and changing all facets of mobility across India and not just in Metros.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working on dual-track science-centric roadmaps for cross-functional development and analysis teams
• Experiment track : Design implementable experiments which are hypothesized by looking at data or user research and arrive at decisions which can be implemented post successful or failure of these experiments. Drive user interviews yourself to gain additional insights and discover hidden problems
• Development track: Design value centric feature roadmap for the tech team which can eventually make use of models and outcomes validated by experiments
• Perform data analysis of the results of experiments and interpret the results in the users and business context
• Understand business challenges and goals to formulate questions for data analysis and model creation that will support their business decision making
• Work with data scientists to create models and frameworks that power products
• Collaborate with data engineers, to define the data lifecycle of your products including productizing data science and AI models

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 year of overall work experience in product, data or design
• Previous stint: Product Management (APM/PM/SPM) Professional or senior professionals in related fields who want to transition to product management, such as data science or product design
• Good understanding of Basics of statistics
• Proficient in SQL/Python and experience with analyzing metrics, good at understanding data
• Some experience with product design and development process
• Some experience with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices
• Some understanding of the methodologies and approaches used in scientific analytics process
• Behavioral Competencies
• Communication(Verbal and written)
• Negotiation skills, stakeholder management, collaboration, conflict resolution
• Presentation skills, ability to learn
