Responsible for checking the technical requirements with the specifications offered by vendor, doing 1st round of negotiation with the vendor for a particular category of item

Job Accountabilities

• Floating enquiry for the assigned items (depending on the user requirement)
• Matching the correctness ofthe technical requirements given by User and the technical specifications given by vendor and raise any shortcomings to Sr. Buyer/Buying Manager
• Doing the first round of negotiation with vendors and giving the details to buying manager

for finalizing the deal with the vendor

• Ordering of the finalized items and making the appropriate entries in SAP system
• Timely response and resolution of Internal and External audit issues related to procurement and in some cases escalating it to Sr. Buyer/Buying Manager

Education Requirement :

B. Tech / B E

Experience Requirement :

# 2-6 years of experience with exposure to respective category sourcing and manufacturing

Desirable

# Experience in category-based purchasing

# Experience of supply management in similar plant operations environment
