About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be working with colleagues from our global Technology organization. Working collaboratively, you’ll be delivering shared solutions for infrastructure operations across our products and services. You be key to developing our Centre of Excellence by innovating ways to automate, optimize and increase availability.
Responsibilities
· Deploying and support of AWS infrastructure and applications, using CI/CD
· Absorbing new technologies and work in a secure environment
· Identifying and communicating risks/impacts and then adjust as necessary
· Seeking and implementing efficiencies to erase toil to allow more focus on project work and lasting improvements
· Collaborating with various teams and disciplines to promote and develop DevOps best practices
Requirements
· Demonstrate expertise of 24 x 7 operational support of systems hosted on a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
· Have Experience in deploying Cloud infrastructure using software deployment patterns (CICD, GIT, Jenkins, ansible and terraform but cross training is available
· Have solid experience in working with engineers to deliver their best in an inclusive and psychologically secure environment
· Experience facilitating technical and planning meetings to identify best outcomes
· Have experience in planning, Agile, problem solving and time management skills
· Have Certification(s) in AWS/Kubernetes.
