We work in more than 100markets in the United States to help entrepreneurs from underrepresentedcommunities build wealth, autonomy, and improve outcomes for their communities.In addition to access to the Startup Space platform, we provide meaningful data andsurveys to help our clients understand their impact and drive policy cloud infrastructure.Job Description: Provisioning and de-provisioning AWS accounts for internal customersWork alongside systems and development teams to support transition and operation of client web sites / applications in and out of AWS.Deploying, managing, and operating AWS environmentsIdentifying appropriate use of AWS operational best practicesEstimating AWS costs and identifying operational cost control mechanismsKeep technical documentation up to dateProactively keep up to date on AWS services and developmentsCreate (where appropriate) automation, in order to streamline provisioning and de-provisioning processesLead certain data/service migration projectsJob Specifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, programminglanguages, web services, or another related field preferredMinimum 5 years experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systemsrunning on AWSCapabilities to provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and bestpractices throughout the lifecycle of a projectExperience with application / data migration to/from AWSExperience with NGINX and the HTTP protocol.Experience with configuration and management software such GITStrong analytical and problem solving skillsDeployment experience using common AWS technologies like VPC, and regionally distributed EC2 instances, Docker, and more.Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, team player, and high standard of excellenceMust be able to work on multiple projects and meet project deadlinesAWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate level or equivalent.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:Flexible shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Remote: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:total work: 1 year (Preferred)
