Job Summary
Storekeeper need to manage, supervise, or perform a variety of tasks in ordering, receiving, storing, accounting for, distributing, and issuing equipment, apparatus, materials.
Responsibilities and Duties
The storekeeper has the main responsibility to receive, store and issue supplies and equipment for the day to day operations. Work closely with purchasing department, ensure cleanliness of all work areas, keeping storage and receiving areas clean and tidy at all times.
Storekeeper Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
Qualifications and Skills
- general control over all activities in stores.
- ensure safekeeping of merchandise.
- maintain proper records of stock in and out.
- requisition of stocks in high demand ahead of time.
- arrange merchandise by category.
- cross-check physical stock at frequent intervals to avoid stock loss.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
