Competencies required (Functional and Behavioral) / Skill Required:

Knowledge of Unit Operations like Solvent Extraction, evaporations etc.

Knowledge of Chemical reaction kinetics

knowledge of heat transfer and mass transfer, fluid dynamics

Basic understanding of mass and energy balance

Positive, ‘Can do’ , proactive attitude

Communication skills & Trouble shooting skills

Job Description:
Manpower Handling:
Proper job distribution of manpower for plant activities and as per shift planning

Supervising the team and providing them with technical support and training

Shift Handling:
Smooth running of Plant by maintaining process and quality control parameter to produce product as per specification

Ensuring Maintenance of all records up to date (i.e Shift log book, log sheets etc )

Informing to section head for any abnormality observed

Proactively identifying abnormality , if any and taking action on the same

Responsible for ensuring OH & SMS related aspects in the section. Take ownership in case of any emergency / disaster as per the Emergency Preparedness Plan / Disaster Mgt. Plan

Ensuring the breakdown (Process/Mechanical/Electrical/Instruments) are properly and timely addressed

Ensuring safety, health &environment in working area.

Ensuring proper housekeeping in the work area

Ensuring proper material in flow, storage and outflow

Preparing various production reports

Maintaining various documents related to ISO

Inter-departmental co ordination( with Maintenance & Electrical dept.)

Responsible for ensuring OH & SMS related aspects in the section. Take ownership in case of any emergency / disaster as per the Emergency Preparedness Plan / Disaster Mgt. Plan
