Job Description

Your main mission will be within the Process Automation and Delivery group.
As a .Net build and release engineer, you will be responsible for reinforcing the project team with the contribution of your competence and expertise in the design, development, testing and deployment of industrial software and automation in a multi-product environment.
You will work in an international and multicultural team. Proficiency in English is essential.
You will bring an ample degree of industry knowledge to your position, which will help you in implementing a systems operations methodology maximized to the needs of the group.
As an experienced engineer, you will also participate in the monitoring of the validation and the quality of the system developed by one or several suppliers.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Candidate should able to meet coding deliverables in line with project release plan
Work closely with development, product development, and operations departments to ensure quality and timely services are delivered.
Support project teams with technical explorations that are needed to develop an understanding of prospective solutions which will extend and provide future business functionalities
Lead teams of .NET developers across one or more projects

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Experience with build, release and deployment on Microsoft technologies
Experience automating release and build processes.
Technical Exploration analysis, alternative evaluations
Coordination with product owners, Tech leads for needs understanding
Support the creation of documentation and training material
Work independently with minimum supervision.
Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:Degree level or industry experience equivalency. Courses related to the area of responsibility and project management.

Experience:8 years experience as .Net build and release Engineer with strong knowledge on .NET/C# programming skills alongwith windows and virtualization technologies.

Technical Skills / Competencies:

Understanding of Agile methodologies
Minimum 5 years of development experience using C# .NET
Excellent design and coding skills using C# / C , .NET Framework on Windows
Experience with build tools – MSBuild/Nant/Ant/Maven, etc.
Basic proficiency of Version control tools – Team Foundation Server (TFS)/Bitbucket/VSTS, etc.
Windows Installer (MSI) technology with application packaging tools – WIX (3.x/4.x), InstallShield
Webapplicationdevelopment (HTML / CSS / Javascript).
Continuous integration tools administration – TeamCity/Jenkins/TFS Builds, etc.
Knowledge on Package management tools – Nuget, etc.
Basic proficiency with Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019
Basic understanding of SQL language and servers like MSSQL or MySQL
Ability to work with different teams internally and with different teams regionally
Perform periodically maintenance of servers and patching in production environment
Automate on operation processes where possible
Documentation on procedures
