The role in a nutshell:
Safeguard Global is currently seeking a Global IT ServiceDesk Coordinator to be part of an existing worldwide team providing support services to the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of aspects of the ongoing maintenance, upkeep, and evolution of the companies’ internal ServiceDesk to ensure the effective operational demands of a fast paced and rapidly expanding organization. As such, you will be expected to lead by example and able to inspire both technical and organizational confidence in others.
How you will make a difference:
Bring awareness to past due incidents within the IT team.
Follow up where needed, track actions and escalate appropriately.
Help Improve SLAs and KPIs.
Monitor incidents and service requests and perform root cause analysis.
Log and standardize solutions to improve processes.
Identify problems and suggest improvements.
Will oversee following up on tickets, making sure they are constantly being updated and resolved.
Working alongside regional ServiceDesk Team Leaders to provide meaningful reporting metrics.
Act as an escalation point.
Log and Standardized solutions to improve services.
Assist with troubleshooting, escalation and tracking of issues.
What will give you an advantage:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and Power Point) able to generate reports and presentations.
Work Well with Other Teams
Ticket System Experience (Manage Engine preferably, ServiceNow and Zendesk).
ITSM Experience Desired.
Technical Support Background.
Communicative.
Can Do Attitude.
Pragmatic, Real-World Approach to Service Improvements.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience who can demonstrate the required technical skillset and work ethic.
Advantageous
Relevant industry certifications.
Team Player.
Problem Solver.
Familiarity with ServiceDesk’s Metrics, SLAs and KPIs.
Sense of Organization and Prioritization.
