Job Summary
Quality In-charge ensures that all company products and services meet quality standards before they go to customer. Their primary responsibilities include understanding customer expectations and needs, outlining quality standards and developing quality control processes.
Responsibilities and Duties

• Day to day visual inspection of all foundry parts heat wise, all customer rejection received & submit report with reason on the same day.
• Day to day dimensional inspection of all machined parts
• For dimensional inspection following is the guide line
• Discuss with customer quality department, know critical dimensions of all parts, those dimensions are to be checked 100%
• For traditional machining 100% checking is required
• For CNC/VMC – 20% jobs are required to be checked from one lot
• Visual inspection before and after machining
• To maintain list of all instruments & calibration records
• For new part – casting dimensional inspection, visual inspection other R.T. testing requirement & other requirement if any.
• Follow up with all machining & other process vendor
• Make list of pending work with vendor
• Reconciliation of parts with all vendor every month & submit report
• Working on ERP as & when required
• To prepare inspection report of job received from supplier
• To make PDIR of required items
• To maintain test certificates record & file, all test report copy should be available at any moment
• To maintain radiography test record, , all test reports submitted to part, copy should be available with invoice no & invoice date
• To attain customer complaint about quality & take corrective action & preventive action
• Make complete record of capa
• Result of improvement & its record
• If any extra work from time to time if required.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
