Seaplast operational since 1996 is a leading global supplier of rotational moulded double wall plastic insulated containers, pallets, plastic freezers and chillers, automobile parts, custom moulded plastic products and injection moulded products such as crates. PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be the first point of contact a new potential client will have with a business for new products or service. The BDM will be the driving force behind generating new sales leads, contacts, new products, and new segment. The job involves expanding our clientele and be the front of the company with dedication to create and apply and effective sales strategy.
A BDM is the first contact for the company with the potential customer. They educate clients abut a company’s products and service in order to make the first opening. They develop relationship in new territories and segments.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Identify and discover new potential customer and their needs
– Contact existing customers for any new product, service or improvement
– Developing new sales areas and improving sales through various methods

– Researching trends and creating new opportunities to increase sales
– Collaborating with sales and account teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals.
– Maintaining a strong understanding of products and service and innovating new ways to serve businesses.
– Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
– Examine risks and potentials for the business opportunities
– Promote company’s products, technology, quality and based on it find solution to customers requirement
– Provide trustworthy feedback and after sales support
– Lead, guide and train local sales team in achievement of there targets, product innovation, new product development and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCES / KNOWLEDGE:
– Graduate or higher qualification in Management / Marketing
– Minimum 8-10 years’ experiences in sales / business development
– Strong communication and negotiation skills
– Computer knowledge – MS office
