Job Description:

An individual with Basic knowledge on Exchange Traded Derivatives operations including settlements and reconciliations, strongly preferred combined with good technical skills. An ambitious and hard-working person who is both innovative and able to balance commercial interest with the requirement for robust controls.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance & Reconciliation holding sound knowledge in Exchange traded Derivatives.

• Monitor Live Exchange Trade reconciliation via FCD and ensure to highlight relevant traders immediately and follow-up without any time delay for resolution.

• Monitor Exchange trade activity and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure accurate recording of transactions. Perform daily reconciliations of all Exchange Traded Derivative (ETD) activities.

• Ensure all ETD derivatives settlements are made correctly and on a timely basis

• Ensure all ETD brokerage payments are made correctly and on a timely basis First Time Right mindset with emphasis on timely and accurate completion of deliverables under stringent timelines.

• Liaise with counterparties to agree mark to market calculations and calculate margin calls using complex spreadsheet models. Flexible to work different / extended work shifts, being resilient under pressure.

• Strong knowledge on MS Excel with specialized Macro/SQL/VBA experience.

• Capable to Implement the automations projects for Trading and Supply cluster to address the manual effort, associated risk, and bring forward the new ways of working to drive process improvements.

• Always remain compliant with requirements of the Shell Trading Compliance Manual and the Code of Conduct. Should be able to learn and take ownership of Trade reconciliation tool Gresham CTC quickly.

• Proficient in languages and tools(ex. SQL, Alteryx and Excel VBA)

• Strong interest in a trading career, Analytical, Technical mindset and problem solving skills, Ability to communicate concisely and clearly.Effective influencing & stakeholder management. Motivation, passion, enthusiasm to perform at highest standards.Working knowledge of SAP (will be an advantage)Staff should be working in rotational shift covering night shift between 8.30PM till 5.30AM IST and 2PM till 11PM IST
