Head – Global Foreign Currency & Commodity Risk Management (FCR)

Product line : Cash Management & Payments (CMP), Foreign Exchange & Commodity Risk

management (FCR), other Corporate Finance topics including supply chain financing, bank relationship management, credit facilities, bank loans, credit rating, in-house management of Pension assets

Geography : Siemens business in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal

Legal entities : Siemens Ltd, India & 15 other Siemens group companies in India & Bangladesh

Mission:
You will be responsible for the following:
Transforming and sustaining a best-in-class Treasury front office – in terms of products/solutions, processes & compliance – for Siemens in South Asian region
Building & maintaining trust-based co-operation and highest level of transparency in dealings with all internal stakeholders – Businesses, other functions, shared service centre, group companies and head quarters
Ensuring utmost professionalism and fairness in dealings with all external stakeholders – RBI, Banks, Financial Institutions, Credit Rating agencies, Dealers/Brokers/Exchanges and Statutory auditors

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Risk management

Providing advisory on hedging techniques and strategies to business units in managing Fx & commodity exposures
Leading the Fx & commodity dealers to act with proficiency and adhere to market best practices in all dealings in the market
Ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines & Indian Central Bank regulations
Transforming the existing Fx & commodity exposure management landscape by designing and implementing automated risk management processes

Liquidity & Cash management

Putting in place a robust liquidity forecasting mechanism and ensuring adequate liquidity & optimal bank facilities at all times with all operating entities including the NBFC – to ensure smooth operations
Leading the liquidity management team to achieve optimal returns on surplus funds and adhere to best market practices
Ensuring implementation/sustenance of market leading banking infrastructure set up – accounts/products/solutions/systems to support businesses & liquidity management

Other corporate finance topics

Deploying and sustaining supply chain financing solutions that would improve business performance
Fostering win-win partnerships with 20+ bankers & financial institutions, credit rating agencies, dealers/brokers/exchanges
Managing credit facility documentation with banks, adhering to global Siemens standards
Raising funds from banks for the NBFC at competitive rates
Co-ordinating credit rating for Siemens companies in India via external credit rating agencies
Actively participating in investment of pension assets managed in-house to achieve returns guaranteed to employees

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds!

Chartered Accountant or master’s in business administration from a reputed institution – with strong academic pedigree
Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in a Corporate Treasury or a Bank with consistent professional accomplishments
In-depth knowledge of currency, commodity & money markets, Indian central bank guidelines, Treasury & risk management practices & processes and banking products/solutions/services
Proficiency in MS Office suite & Treasury Management Systems plus working knowledge of SAP; Adept in quickly understanding and working in customized IT tools at Siemens Treasury
