Position Overview
This position will be responsible for the Sales Education and Development Function for the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) Zone. SEDU Manager is accountable for the sales education development strategy, definition and enhancement of tools and processes for the expansion of commercial excellence in the sales force in the APJ zone and to deliver and coordinate training initiatives targeting the effective and sustainable expansion of market share and profitability in the Zone.
The position requires strong experience and full collaboration with global, zone and country stakeholders.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
Partners with Global DX Sales Education and countries sales education team to implement the Dx sales education and development programs
Mapping of the sales roles (such as sales representatives, sales specialists, regional sales manager, national sales manager, Business Partner Manager etc.), to implement Sales Certification programs in each county in APJ
Implements a proper curriculum and certification program for the different sales roles (Including product information, market, tools, soft skills, and strategic selling capabilities).
Aligns the curriculum with the different countries to understand and adapt to their local needs (e.g. indirect partner versus direct)
Key competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Health Science, Engineering and/or Business Administration. MBA or Graduate Executive Programs in Marketing or Management preferred.
Experience in In-Vitro Laboratory Diagnostics industry with proven experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Development Functions.
Sales Training Certifications in any of the following would be an advantage: Strategic Selling, SPIN Selling (Miller Heiman – Korn Ferry), Negotiating to Yes (Wilson Learning), COF Sales Force, COF Sales Manager, COF Value-Based Selling Solutions(Total Innovation Group Inc.), ONE Sales Methodology (KRAUTHAMMER).
Strong collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills in English & local language (multilingual capabilities a plus)
Effective presentation skills, presentation development & ability to manage and structure information to maximize impact (making the complex information simple to understand)
Ability to manage timelines and deliverables.
Expertise in implementation of training programs
