We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with a background in Mechanical Engineering and experience in the energy sector, specifically with steam turbines. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of programming languages such as C++, C#, Python & Fortran and will have at least five years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement new software programs for proposal building and basic engineering, ensuring compliance with the latest methodologies and best practices.

2. Maintain and improve the performance of existing software, identifying and rectifying bottlenecks.

3. Apply your mechanical engineering knowledge to design software solutions that meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.

4. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features, ensuring software is up-to-date with the latest industry developments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Proficient in C++, C#, Python & Fortran .

2. At least 5 years of experience in software development .

3. Experience in the energy sector, specifically with steam turbines.

4. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team.

5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in simple terms
