Roles and Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Chief Engineer for Process and Engineering Quality will be responsible for developing and ensuring adherence to processes which deliver world class standards of engineering rigour and quality within Hero Vehicle Engineering & Development.

They will seek out new ways to improve the efficiency and RFT of the department and

work with stakeholders, internal and external to put these initiatives in place.

They will work with the technical and project management leaders in the department to

jointly develop and agree new procedures.

Take responsibility for theVED Company Engineering guidelines & SOPs

Training

Identify technical training gaps

(not soft skills or project dev.)

With HR and HOS organise

training in all required engineering

expertise areas.

Core Engineering Practice

To lead process and resource

development for the following:
Tolerance Stacks

Clearance Checks

Scheme Drawings

Digital Mock up

Design Reviews

Component specifications or

SOR process

Mass monitor

Bolted joint calculations

DFMEA
