Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Cost estimation for new parts at development stage

Zero base costing & price settlement of the PCB, Electronic part assemblies

Rate changes periodically for RM, Design changes & Conversion changes etc.

Understandings of capacities of electronics parts

capacity readiness as per mgmt. volume projections

Cost saving initiatives

Vendor PQCDSM improvements

Technical/ Functional:
Proficient in Electrical/ Electronic automotive vehicle system.

Knowledge of vehicle powertrain and the interfaces arising out of electrification.

Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations, applicable globally.

Having thorough knowledge in electronic parts, assemblies & its processes.

Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application

Experience in quality systems of electronic components for automotive application –CDI, ECU, voltage Regulator, sensors, digital instrument clusters (speedometers)

Competition bench marking with similar parts, VA/ VE PFMEA

Should have good engagement with Tier 1 & Semiconductor Manufacturing and distributors
