Roles and Responsibilities
Solution Architect / Tech Lead will evangelize & deliver the technical solution and own all the architectural decisions for the solution. Works closely with the team members & vendors to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future architectural changes. You will also define &execute the teams engineering practices in test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing the overall architecture of the product. Includes Solution, Integration, Data, Deployment & Security considerations
Defines the Engineering practices and guides the team members (including vendors) on coding practices, continuous integration and automated deployment
Works with Product Manager to create the product backlog and ensures on-time & in-quality delivery
Hands on coder who will mentor and coach the team to develop the solution & removes all technical impediments
Provides the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality
Responsible for building reusable & scalable components
Technical/ Functional skills:
Architecture skills
Expert on creating architecture including solution architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, deployment architecture & security architecture
Expert on DevOps & latest Engineering Practices
Familiar with production Cloud / DevOps environments
Hands-on developer who can code back and front-end solutions with different architecture
Agile / Digital Experience
Experience with Agile Development lifecycle. Understands the different roles in the Agile team and how the solution architect must operate within the team
Experience managing technical priorities within the Backlog
