Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: Hyderabad/Indore

Experience: 3-4 Years

Shift: 1:30 PM-10:30 PM (IST)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coding, unit test case preparation, unit test case execution for all user stories assigned as per Sprint plans.

• Participate in design reviews and code reviews/walkthrough meetings.

• Work with technical leads, product owners, solution architects to understand user stories and application design.

• Understand and align with Sprint plans, delivery timelines, resource needs etc.

• Provide unit test cases and unit testing results – using tools such as Junit, SonarQube

• Work with the Scrum team and comply to the agile development processes, methodology and tools (such as JIRA)

• Report daily status to technical lead/PM and highlight issues/risks proactively.

• Provide technical support and guidance to other development team members as needed.

• Respond to questions technical lead – related to source code, defects, defect fixes, user stories status etc.

• Participate in the daily scrum meetings with the client and internal stakeholders – provide daily status for tasks assigned.

• Provide defect fixes and technical support to QA Teams

• Ensure compliance to all functional requirements and non-functional requirements in the user stories assigned.

• Provide support to application deployment/DevOps teams at the time of application deployment to non-production and production environments.

Key Skills:

Mandatory:

• 3 to 4 years of experience in working as software developer on enterprise applications.

• Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and design patterns used in web application development.

• Hands-on experience in working with Java (8+ version is preferred) and Java EE

• Knowledge of Angular UI and integration with Java Apps is a plus.

• Expertise on MVC, Spring and Spring Boot, JWT tokens

• Experience in working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

• Experience in integrating with API gateway solutions.

• Micro service architecture (Writing new micro services and maintaining existing services/APIs)

• Experience in development of REST APIs – JSON, XML

• Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket, Jira, Scrum, SonarQube and CI/CD processes

• Working knowledge of RHEL Linux, AWS

• Experience working in a team setting along with offshore and onshore development teams.

• Good communication skills – written and verbal with ability to communicate clearly with client and internal stakeholders.

Good to have:

• Database (Writing SQL queries and procedures as needed)

• Experience with AWS, RDS, Docker, Kubernetes

• Knowledge in Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks

Education & Certifications:-

• B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc (CS)/MCA

• Java certifications (good to have)
