Job Title : Senior Automation Test Engineer

Job Location : Hyderabad, India

Job Summary:

As a Sr. Automation Test Engineer , the incumbent is expected to be a part of a team of 3 -4 members in the C#. . development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for one or more medium to high complexity business capabilities and/or products. NET domain, lead and personally contribute to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis

• Minimum of 4- 6 years’ experience in testing web-based and Desktop products/projects.

• Ability to work in a team and challenging environment.

• Knowledge of different types of testing and testing strategies.

• Understands the SDLC, Agile/SCRUM concepts and software release cycle.

• Knowledge of stress and performance testing desirable.

• Knowledge of automation tool (selenium or Qtest ) is required.

• Knowledge on TFS/Jira.

• Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.

• Excellent Team Player skills

• Should have built automation framework/library from scratch.

  Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates deep understanding thru analysis and improvement recommendations to multifaceted business processes, application features, data change to resolve defects or enhance business capabilities.

• Influences business and technology roadmaps for product/solution by working in close collaboration with business, technology partners and vendors.

• Proactively and independently works in identifying and resolving production issues.

• Training of new joiners on the technology and environment specific details

Qualifications:

· Solugenix Solutions is looking for automation lead who can take end-end ownership of all the automation activities.

· Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

· Identifies test cases and creates or updates test case documents with assistance from core engineering team.

· Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

· Executes test cases, identify bugs, evaluate bugs with appropriate priority and severity, and report bugs.

· Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

· Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.

· Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

· Identifies the gap between the function specifications and implementation.

· Understands the functionality of the entire product and takes ownership of the hot fixes allocated to him/her for testing.

· Provides recommendations for enhancing product features.

· Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

· Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

· Load testing using the open-source tools.

· Experience in the UI/Functional automation – Qtest or selenium

· API automation using Rest Assured.
