E/E Systems Engineer Lead will lead development of electrical, electronics, safety controls, control switches, network communication, wire harness, and software. You would report to head of vehicle engineering. As team leader you would be responsible to hire required team members and develop a competent team.

# Role and Responsibilities

• Mapping of functions/logical blocks to technical system elements (components)
• Definition of hardware-network topology (includes technical structure and bus systems)
• Circuit diagram with power supply and grounding concept (high and low voltage)
• Interface definition per system
• Communication matrix
• Wire harness layout
• Pin diagrams and connector definition
• Plan and Implement Hardware in Loop (HIL), Model Based Design and Digital Twin methods
• Develop hardware and software with supplier partners like VCU, Telematics Unit, etc.
• Creation of the “bill of material (BOM)” for costing
• Conduct DFMA exercise for hardware
• Conduct DFMEA exercise for hardware
• Conduct PFMEA with suppliers for hardware
• Sample and prototype build for internal design verification validation of the designs by simulations and measurements
• Collaborate with testing & validation team for creating DVP
• Provide analysis and troubleshooting throughout development processes

# Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Electronic engineering
• 8-10 years’ experience in E/E System Architecture Development in automobile OEM
• Knowledge of automotive safety and standards (ISO 26262 and SPICE) is preferable
• Experience programming in C/C++ for embedded systems, designing finite state machines, control theory and state estimators.
• Experience in algorithm development and simulation frameworks such as MATLAB and Simulink. Bonus: knowledge of IPG Carmaker
• Detailed knowledge of electronic hardware / software & supporting infrastructure architecture design & overall development.
• Experience with different automotive or related industry communication protocols and tools. (LIN, CAN, Ethernet, etc.)
• Knowledge of embedded system hardware and multi core architecture.
• Experience working hands on with integration of multi-modal sensors – their mounting and calibration
• Very good knowledge on both theoretical and practical aspects of applying Systems Control Theory to Vehicular Applications.
• Good abilities to analyse and optimize system and vehicle performance for key metrics.
• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
• Experience in university level BAJA/ Supra or similar competition is preferred
