Position Summary:
Manage B2C sales for Springer Nature books through eCommerce players and the Special pricing projects for the India market.

Responsibilities:
Commercial:
Achieve/Surpass budget expectations for the role
Develop and implement sales strategy for the respective business in collaboration with the Sales Director
Own and grow the textbook adoption program in Print and E.

Channel Management:
Responsible for named accounts
Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities for print and eBooks
Manage special pricing (EPZ) business and coordinate for print on demand (POD) India business

Promotions:
Visit Institutions to explore opportunities for the business

Reporting:
Deliver monthly sales reports and monthly forecasts to the Sales Director
Share regional market information/trends with Trade Sales team/colleagues

Collaboration with Internal stakeholders:
Close collaboration with colleagues in Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service/Fulfillment, Logistics, Data and Finance

Qualification & required skills

Qualification:
Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma

Required Skills:
Good sales & negotiation skills
Must be well organized, collaborative and self-motivated
Must be able to work with deadlines
Strong communication & English language skills

Others:
Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Required to work on company softwares and ERP solutions
Willing to travel as required
